After successfully completing his training as a business graduate, John Cloppenburg started his career in 1993. From 1993 to 1996 he gained his first experience in sales and purchasing at P&C KG Hamburg until he switched to Peek & Cloppenburg KG, Düsseldorf in 1996. There, John Cloppenburg initially took over the management of the Wuppertal store until he was the company manager of Anson’s Herrenhaus KG for twelve years from 1997. John Cloppenburg has been a member of the management team at P&C Düsseldorf since 2010 and, in this position, was responsible, among other things, for premium purchasing, the largest retail stores (Weltstadthaus) and e-commerce.
