This year is Inga Griese’s 40th with Axel Springer publishing house. Starting as a sports editor in Hamburg, she moved to Berlin in 1990 as a political correspondent and finally positioned WELT on the international lifestyle and luxury agenda by founding ICON magazine 15 years ago. Since then, the brand family has had several print and digital line extensions. The passionate mother and grandmother also wrote several books and is co-founder and advisory board member of Fashion Council Germany.
